We've finally got the Scribes back up and running. New layout, new pics and soon new writings!
We're also going to do more for our community this time, charities and more, with the help of many art forms. As always, we encourage you to review our work as you read it, new or old and please don't forget you can send us your own.
I'm very excited about this and as we gain momentum, I hope we catch up and exceed where we reach previously.

Life comes at me fast and I lose sight of where I'm going, but I'm proud to say I always end up back here :) Writing is and will always be my #1, even if I'm caught up in something else for a bit. I always return home! New stuff coming at you guys!

Again - Sorry for the lack of updates. But rest assured, I'm hard at work on a premiere series that I'll debut on the 11th both at the event and here on the website!
As a little sneak preview, I'll let you in a on bit about it.
It's called 'Chronicles Of Dark City' and it'll be five parts long.
I'm very excited for this piece. It's a pleasure to write and I hope it's just as good to read.

Our debut event is in about four weeks - Dec 11th and me, A R Laine and Jonny will take the stage along with our musical special guests D.J. and Yoshi :)
I'm so excited but also very nervous. I dont think I can bring myself to actually read any of my stuff in front of a large crowd, haha but I will be premiering a new mini-series. A believe A R Laine will be doing the same and Jonny will have some amazing new artwork!

... has literally flown by. November already? No way! I have so much to do before this year is over. Enroll for next semester being at the top of the list.
My writing has been coming in slowly lately - I know and I'm sorry. Things have gotten beyond crazy but quality over quantity. I'd rather give you guys great stuff slowly than horrible stuff quickly. So please be patient and don't lose faith :]

Whoa - where did this month go?!
I'm really sorry for the lack of "Masked Murder" updates BUT I will one more part up tonight and the last part up before Halloween.
After Halloween is over, our website will have a whole new look. We're working super hard on making it look professional.

Hey guys!!!
So many great happenings this past week!
First off, look at our layout :). Now I know it's nothing super fancy, but I'm pretty proud of it!
We also sent out our first newsletter on Friday (if you want to join, send your e-mail to jonesandlaine@yahoo.com). I'm pretty excited about it. We'll also be taking a bunch to a few businesses around town for them to distribute.

I'm reallllly sorry about that short hiatus I unknowingly went on... Between work and well, work I didn't have much time to write. But I'm going to MAKE time from now on.
I'm also making more time to get flyers distributed...like right NOW! :)
Me and A R are thinking about participating in an open mic night here in Wichita, KS in the next week or two...we'll create a Facebook event so that everyone knows about it. I'm nervous!! But it'll be good for us.

I don't know why, but I can't sleep!
...Oh wait, maybe it's because I didn't get up until 6pm YESTERDAY! Lol.
Today is the first day of advertising here in town. Me and A R Laine are going to do some planning at B&N (in about 4 hours) then the boys are meeting us and we're distributing flyers around town!
